With Gratitude, A Letter From Our Founder Joe Kudla

As you read this note I hope it finds you immersed in the holiday spirit, in other words, filled with happiness and gratitude.  These two emotions get a lot of air-time during the holidays, but they can so easily escape us if we aren’t paying attention. As students of life seeking to create extraordinary lives, we understand their significance.  And we believe that in order to truly experience them we must play an active role…taking the time to visit that place that leaves you feeling inspired, surrounding yourself with those who light you up, having the courage to persevere into the unknown, to push yourself physically and then make sure you take the time to hit the pause button and just breathe.  We like to call these “Investments in Happiness’. In an increasingly busy world, they are often easier said than done, so it’s our hope this holiday season we can do our part in reminding you of their importance.  

2019 has been transformative on so many levels. We welcomed new additions to our families. Our product line grew to include several new styles that we love.  We are proud to be building more clothing from recycled materials. We doubled the size of our team with wonderful folks who are aligned with our mission. We opened new Vuori stores.  We hosted several events to support causes that we believe in and we had a lot of fun each step of the way. 

Business can be complicated when navigating this dynamic growth, but at Vuori we try to boil it down to a few simple values.  We strive to make great products, be in great relationships, with each other, our customers and the environment, and live extraordinary lives.  We know that no matter what comes our way we can always turn to these guiding principles to illuminate the path forward. 

I am very grateful to have the opportunity to stop and thank you -- our incredible customers and friends -- for giving us the gift of doing what we love every day while creating a culture that nourishes and inspires so many. We know it would not be possible without YOU. 

Thank you for being with us on this journey. Thank you for keeping us fired up to do what we do. Your support and enthusiasm motivate us to shape new products and evolve Vuori into the future. We are deeply grateful. And thank you for getting out there, enjoying nature’s playground to the fullest and taking in the incredible beauty that surrounds us. We are so blessed!
