An update to our classic Course Run Short, this version is made with partially recycled materials and features perforations for a new level of airflow. The built-in liner features a phone pocket so you can go hands-free while you rack up the miles.

 <li>Find your corresponding size on the chart to guide your purchase.</li>
 <li>With a pen or pencil pointed straight down, have a friend or partner assist you by marking the tip of the big toe and the outermost part of the heel.</li>
 <li>Once the marks are recorded, step off the paper and use a ruler or measuring tape to measure the distance between the two points. This measurement represents the length of the foot.</li>
 <li>Repeat the process with the other foot. Please note that it is common for one foot to be slightly different length than the other.</li>
 <li>Apply the longer of the two measurements to our size chart to find the correlating size for the recorded foot length. If the measurement is between sizes, we recommend sizing up.</li>

I have three pairs of the Fullerton shorts, but they were too hot for the summer months (just moved to a warmer climate in SoCal). I had a pair of the Course Run shorts and found I wanted to wear them every time I went out, so I bought a pair of the Course Run Shorts 2.0. Found I was wearing both pairs exclusively, so I bought two more pairs. I love these shorts.

Why are these the best? They are lightweight, they have a boxer brief style liner that does not ride up (almost all boxer brief style shorts become a thong for some reason), and they fit my bulbous runner's butt (yes, there is volume in the briefs, most other shorts fit everywhere, but the brief feeling like I'm wearing one or two sizes too small). Finally, they are buttery soft, Vuori's signature feature. 

BONUS: I finished a run last week (soaked in sweat) and rinsed the shorts in warm water. Did it one more time and then hung them to dry. They smelled as fresh as they did out of the wash. I may start doing this more often to cut down on wash cycles.

My only complaint is that there really isn't good phone storage, but that's ok for a lightweight summer running short.

These shorts are the best. I have replaced my entire running shorts collection with Vuori running shorts (fullerton for the winter and Course Run for the summer) and have almost replaced my running shirt collection as well (just bought three more Strato Tech tanks and will be purchasing more of the T shirts this fall).
